Earth Trails has launched a new scheme to support an individual or team in their attempts to positively impact either a humanitarian or environmental problem. Each year an application will be chosen based on a merit system by our executive team.
Earth Trails Positive Impact Grant
The Positive Impact Grant is provided to empower, inspire and support a raw concept or thought, that can positively impact either an environmental or humanitarian problem.
The founding directors of Earth Trails Expeditions were instrumental in the development of The Wild Medic Project, a not for profit project that has provided medical assessments to over 7000 people in remote communities who had little to no access to primary health care through collaborative partnerships. The project was initially established and empowered by a $500 donation and has gone on to provide almost $137,000 to community projects since its inception.
What is in it?
$500 AUD cash to be used directly towards the initiative.
$150 AUD social media drive
What are we looking for?
The grant is designed to assist a raw idea aimed to positively impact the world that has almost made it to paper. Ideally backed by research, the problem can be either humanitarian or environmental in nature. The Positive Impact Grant is designed to support ‘thinking big’ and allow people to achieve something novel and exciting.
Applications close 31 December 2018
The front-runner will be announced on our website 30 January 2019
