Hear what others have to say

Our staff and expedition leaders are industry leaders and selected carefully based on their skill sets and experience. Here are what former expedition members have had to say about their experience.

This expedition was a fantastic opportunity to holiday with a difference. The mixture of education, hiking in such a beautiful place and the volunteer phase made for a rewarding trip all around. I can't imagine going on a classic tourist-y holiday again knowing that there are companies out there like this who offer such an amazing way to see the world.

The Expedition was an absolutely incredible experience! It was great to be around like minded people and excellent leaders with great amounts of experience to share. I would very strongly recommend an Earth Trails expedition to anyone !

If you're looking to improve your skills and gain new insight into the exciting and valuable area of wilderness medicine, give the mountain medic course a shot. Been the best thing for me as a first year paramedic student in terms of gaining confidence and learning and applying new techniques in a wilderness setting. If you're on the fence about whether or not to jump in, you will not regret it.

The team consists of industry leaders in expedition planning, wilderness medicine and most are former military with guiding backgrounds. It is no walk in the park and requires a lot of planning prior to launch. It's a serious journey, often with a very specific purpose undertaken by several people and lots of equipment.
